This year’s library summer reading program is “Fizz, Boom, Read!”
We will be doing different science experiments. The first day we made “GAK”, which was made with Elmer’s Glue, water and Borax. I later came across this recipe where you use equal parts of Elmer’s Glue (which I bought the glitter glue) and Sta-Flo liquid starch. It was fun and super easy to make. I know I’m not a little kid anymore but it’s fun to sit around and squish it! Think of it as a stress reliever! Elmer’s glitter glue comes in different colors, so you have your pick. I like to just stare at the glitter glue in the bottle, so pretty, I know, I’m weird that way!
Here’s a picture of the kids with the “GAK” they made…
and here’s a picture of the yummy dessert the librarian made for us!
Now go forth and have some squishy fun!!
