Which Way Do I Go?

which-way-to-go

As you have probably heard, Google Friend Connect will be closing in July 2013.  I see where some of you  have been switching over to another free followers gadget.  Some have mentioned  Linky Followers and some have mentioned  bloglovin.com.  I’m not sure how these two differ, although Linky followers appears to look similar to the Google Friend Connect. What direction if any, have you decided to go?  Help or suggestions much appreciated!  Thanks!!

Mindy

  2. I went with Linky Followers a while back b/c it is easy to do and only requires to start a free account. Linky Followers also does not place ads on your blog or at your dashboard.

  3. Hi Minday - I downloaded all of my blogs I follow into a bloglovin acct today and it was painless and easy. I don't know if I'll stay there, but at least I won't lose my blog list! I will check out linky too, thanks for providing a place to ponder this ~*~Lisa

  7. Hi Mindy, I don't know what to do, why can't they leave well enough alone, I am so afraid of loosing everyones blogs. I have made so many wonderful friendships and hate to loose being able to contact my blogger friends. I hate change. hugs, Lecia

  8. I don't know anything about the Linky one. I switched to Bloglovin' and it is fine so far. I tend to list the blogs I read most on my actual blog page and go to them that way rather through a reader.

  9. I caved in to the panic as I was scared to lose some of the blogs I follow. I thought I would start early and try the different ones to see which I liked better before doom day. Bloglovin was easy and I imported all my blogs from google reader in one step.

  10. Uh oh...I have no idea what this means! I am so "un-computer savvy" that it's amazing I can even maintain a blog, much less make major changes. Guess I better start checking this Bloglovin' thingie out.
