Have a few things made up to sell. Never done this before so kind of nervous. Hope it goes ok. I’m hoping to maybe have a selling blog in the near future.
I guess it’s about time to start decorating for Christmas. Wish I had an elf to do all that for me, well I do have my new gingerbread boy pictured below to help me!

Here’s my newest pal little gingerbread man made by friend Paula of Red Door Primitives. He’s gonna help me decorate for Christmas!
Enjoy your Wednesday and have a nice Thanksgiving everyone!

Decided I better drag my turkey out before Thanksgiving comes and goes. This is a busy time of year for me so haven't posted for awhile though I’ve been trying to check up on everyone’s blog when I get a chance.
Ever since I started my blog, I have thought off and on about maybe trying to sell some of the things I have made, well I’ve finally decided to give it a try. I will be posting some items for sale soon. I will be picking a day and time of when I will post my items and let you know in advance. There are a couple of “Maggie” based patterns (you know how I love Maggie patterns) that I just recently finished and a few other items. I’m new at this, so we’ll see how it goes.
Enjoy the rest of the week!

This morning on Facebook I was seeing some pictures posted of Janice Elderkin’s home and I thought wow, what a wonderful home. I was hurrying around getting ready to ride over to Roca with Joan to one of my favorite places, Sweet Annie’s, so I didn’t have much time to look. I decided I would check it out more when I got back home. Anyway, made it to Sweet Annie’s where we got to see shop owners, Phil and Linda, and check out all the latest goodies. Could have brought home tons of things but you know how that goes. I did manage to pick me up the little book light candle holder. Such a sweet simple little thing, love it and I also picked up the Holiday issue of A Primitive Place Magazine.
On the way home I got to thumbing through the magazine and noticed Janice’s home is one of the homes featured in this issue. The only bummer is it didn’t have as many photos of it as I saw on Facebook. It’s a very beautiful home. I never get tired of looking at all my books and magazines I have of primitive homes. I don’t just look at them and put them away, I get them out over and over and revisit them and get just as much enjoyment from them as the first time I saw them. They’re so inspiring!
