Here are a few shots around the home. Got Good Ole Jack hanging in the kitchen. I made him a couple years back. He’s one of my favorites for Halloween.
Rusty brought me home some “hedge balls” to decorate with. I’ve got him trained what to look for! I didn’t even ask him for any, he just saw them and brought them home, what a sweetie!
Oh and when I went to take out some of my Halloween things, the ghost that I trapped last year was still in the jar! So glad nobody took the lid off!
He does look a little upset though!

Hi Mindy!
ReplyDeleteLove your Fall tour!
Hedge Balls? I have never heard them called that before. I have always heard OSAGE Oranges. Not edible... but cool looking.
Let me know.
Cute! Ghost in the jar. Thanks for the visit. We called them hedge apples. Used to be a lot around here, not anymore.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love you pumpkin guy, he is fantastic! Never heard of hedge balls before. Here in Michigan we either call them osage oranges or road apples. Isn't it fun to see what people all across the country call different things?
ReplyDeleteYou have such cute decorations and I love your photos. The ghost in the jar tickles me!!! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteGood Evening Mindy, real great Fall decor...love the Jack in the kitchen...like those green Hedge balls, look great in the basket....Don`t let the ghost out!!!! Blessings Francine.

I forgot to say I love Ole Jack!
ReplyDeleteYears ago we made necklaces out of 'hedge apples' as we called them. Slice them, bake the slices in an oven to dry them out, paint them with polyurethane and attach a ribbon to the piece for a necklace. Unusual to say the least!
ReplyDeleteHi Mindy. I love how natural everything is. Beautiful home decor. Don't open the jar!! -Steph-
ReplyDeleteHi Mindy,
ReplyDeleteWill those hedge balls dry out of will they eventually mold. I never think to decorate with them but your look great. Have a great weekend!
