Finished Punch Needle

pcp 833

I finished my first needle punch! It was a lot of fun to do. Now I need to decide what I am going to put it on.  I’m ready to try another one!

How do you needle punchers out there display your finished projects?

Needle Punch Update

Well, here’s my thoughts so far on the punch needle. If you have never done it before and want to learn, which is what I’m doing, get the Ultra Punch Needle!  I started out with the CRT punch needle but I had trouble  getting it to work. My loops wouldn’t stay in, I would punch and they would just come right back out as I went along. This needle would probably work much better for an experienced puncher.

This is the CRT needle.

Next I got a cheap needle at Walmart and I was able to make the loops with this one but  I don’t think I could change the lengths on it.  So I decided to get the Ultra Punch Needle and I love it.  It worked right off the bat for me and it has numbers on it that allow you to put it on what setting you want.

This is the Ultra Punch Needle.

So my advice to anyone wanting to learn that has never done it before would be to use the Ultra Punch.

Here is the back side of the pattern I’m working on. You can click on images to enlarge.

And here is the front side. So far so good! I think it’s fun to do!

I’m doing this pattern as it said it was a good beginner one to start with.pcp 829

Now, I got all excited when I went to visit Lori at Notforgotten Farm today. She has a video of her needle punching which I thoroughly enjoyed! Hop on over there yourself if you are just learning! You’ll be glad you did!
