Seriously?

Ok, I’m a little upset about what I am seeing on Pinterest.  There have been very obscene nude photos on there posted by someone in particular and I don’t even follow them. So why do I see these and further more why are such pictures allowed on there. I certainly would classify these photos as porn.  Has anyone else seen these kind of pictures and if so, what can be done to get rid of them? I’m just totally shocked they are allowed on there.

  1. I agree with you Mindy, some I've seen are way over the top and shouldn't be on there. There is a place on the site when you sign in that you can contact Pinterest and file a complaint, somewhere in the settings.
I've been shocked several times by what has been posted! Once again something meant for fun has to be ruined by others without morales.

  2. I've seen them on there too and when you read the 'terms of use" on the site they state no nudity. I sent them an e-mail inquiring about where is the *report content* link (supposedly there is one) but have not heard a thing back! It's sad we have to see such filth, some of it is VERY graphic;/

  3. I think that is terrible, I haven't seen any nude photo's, but I usually just look for prims and don't look at the rest. If they keep allowing that, I may boycot them.

  4. Hi Mindy...luckily in my couple of days on there, I haven't seen any of this. To report a pin....you have to click on the pin and then on the right side of the picture there is a "report pin" button.. Hugs, Traci

  7. I was thinking that pinterest was too good to be true. I hope everyone complains and it will be corrected.

  8. When I first signed up with Pintereste they automatically matched me with people according to my interests. I had to go in and unfollow all of them. That may be what's happening to you. It's maddening to see people puting that kind of material on the website. Ugh. -Steph-

  10. I'll find the report button if I see any of it.
Their smut isn't going to ruin Pinterest for me.

  11. I haven't been on Pinterest too much lately, but I'm kind of a dummy where it's concerned so maybe that's been my saving grace. Hope they get this worked out and that it doesn't get corrupted by people who think the web shouldn't have boundaries when it comes to decency. ~Roberta
