Every now and then I want to bring out the best in my cutting boards and I always forget the mixture to use. I’ve reposted this before but if you’re like me you never remember either. So here we go again:
Now maybe some of you already know this but I was reading somewhere and I can’t remember where, that if you have cutting boards, an old dresser or anything wood that you were thinking about stripping, that you could bring out the best in the wood by using 3 parts oil to one part vinegar. Either white or apple cider vinegar and olive or vegetable oil. Just mix it up and rub it on with a clean cloth and the wood just soaks it up. See the difference in the first 2 pictures? I used it on a couple of cutting boards.
Turned out pretty nice I thought!
