It’s Hung…

Ok, I finally got my quilt hung. I hung it up in my living room and I used a curtain rod and rings with clips on them. I decided to put it in my living room because it is the very first and probably the last quilt I will ever make so anyone that enters my living room will have no choice but to look at it! Yes, I am making everyone look at it whether they like it or not, and if they don’t notice it, I am quick to point it out, lol!  It’s like my very own deer head I guess, only this is soooo much better!

The wooden box I bought at Paula’s is sitting on the bench with pumpkins in it. It’s such a neat box!   I haven’t started my turkey penny rug yet, so don’t know if it will even get done before Thanksgiving!

Enjoy your Sunday!

  3. A beautiful quilt. I also hang all my quilts with the same type of rod and absolutely love how they work with the clips.

  6. Wow Mindy, That quilt is a masterpiece. I don't blame you. I would have it where it could be seen also. There has to be lots of hours and stitches in that great quilt. Beautiful.

I cannot believe that you will not be doing more as beautifully as you do them....It looks wonderfully displayed as you have it....Did you have to sew tabs on for the clips? (I have a heck of a time figuring out how to hang my rugs.....grrr....) Hope you had a wonderful Sunday - and a wonderful week ahead....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  18. Can you email me with your hanging instructions? I have a similar size (although not nearly as lovely!) and want to hang and cannot find a suitable wall mount quilt hanger. Your idea in genius! Chris Beresford
