First of all thank you to those that commented on my previous post. I do think it has to do with blogger itself, it’s so annoying though because I miss those updated post that say they are there but they aren’t! :-(
Here is my finished Maggie kit. The first photo is taken in a room with more light and the second photo with not so much light. It really changes the looks of it. I had a hard time finding a 12 X 12 inch frame. I found one at Hobby Lobby but it was too modern looking so I asked if they had any more and she directed me over to the scrapbooking area where I found this frame. It was natural wood and so I had to paint it which is fine and I like the looks of it, it’s just that there is no glass in it.
Now I have to clean my dining room table off again. There is just no end! I'm always working on something that lands on the table. I try so hard to be organized but it just never works out that way.

Love it! Great job Mindy! I really like the tongues on the bottom instead of the words... Maybe I can pull mine out to work on this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe picture on the bottom is my favorite - love the little spool chick and those crocks too - perfect!
Have a wonderful holiday weekend!
Blessings, Patti
Great job Mindy...I wouldn't know where to begin to make something like this. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter weekend!:)

Mindy--awesome work! Looks like the frame turned out well, too. The photo on the bottom looks closer to Maggie's usual colors, but both are really great! ~Roberta
ReplyDeleteMindy, I love your Maggie piece. Great job! Our local lumber yard cuts glass for me for frames when I need it and the cost is very reasonable.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL! What a wonderful finish. It looks great and your choice of frame is spot on.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove the tulips, very spring, really turned out well. When I sew it lands on every surface in the house, can't seem to keep it contained to the sewing room. Love all the other prim items in the pictures. Vicky
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty. Also like the doll in the first photo; is that a pattern?
ReplyDeleteThis is really lovely, Mindy...I love the colors! Thanks for stopping by and following my blog...I'm a new follower, too!
ReplyDeleteI like that you framed the piece. Good colors.
