15 Mushrooms and A Primitive Place

Hope everyone enjoyed their Easter! I have one complaint, not enough sun! The sun just won’t stick around which makes for dreary depressing days!

Rusty went mushroom hunting the other day and found about 10 and Doug made fun of him because that’s all he found so Doug decided he was going to go and get some more, so he went yesterday and found 5. Who’s laughing now?!

Just received my summer issue of A Primitive Place Magazine today! I had to set it aside when I got home from work because I had some errands I had to run. I finally made it home so now I’m gonna sit down and enjoy some good reading and some good eye candy I’m sure!

  1. Ooooooh, I'm jealous! So far, all I've seen is pictures! Morels are the best part of spring.
Here in Rome, we think the best spring meal is a big ribeye on the grill with steamed asparagus and and a mess of mushrooms. 15 would be perfect!

  2. I'm so excited to know that APP magazine is on it's way to my mailbox! I've never even tasted one of those mushrooms before - don't even know if they grow here in Utah!

  3. Okay I am very jealous that you have your magazine already. I so can't wait to get mine.

Your mushrooms look yummy. Sure hope you find more. I don't think 10 of them will go very far! lol!

    Have a blessed day Mindy,

  4. My husband loves those mushrooms, he found two bags full and deep fried them. I am afraid to eat them. When I was a little girl, an old neighbor lady would tell me and my sisters a story about a whole family that died eating posion mushrooms so I am afraid of them, even though I am a country girl. They must have been alright. My husband is still here. Hugs, Lecia

  5. One of these days I'll have to try a morel. They sure have a devoted following and I understand they are very hard to find, so good for your husband! ~Roberta
