Last night we went to Angi and Gregg’s. We had some good food and good fun! They had these “Christmas crackers” that she got from her sister who lives in England. A Christmas cracker is a brightly colored paper tube, twisted at both ends. A person pulls on each end of the cracker and when the cracker breaks, a small chemical strip goes “Pop” and the contents fall out, traditionally they contain a paper crown, a small gift and a joke written on a slip of paper. They look like this:
Here are some of the crowns.
Notice how Gregg’s crown matches perfectly with his sweater! How festive!
Here is Angi’s tree. It was so pretty. It’s a real one.
They had a fire going, nice and toasty!
They have very nice woodwork in their home!
Their front door.
Last but not least their dog Monty. He was sleeping in this position. It was so funny! I had to walk by him to get my camera and he opened his eyes. I told Angi he needed a blanket!
