I found this piece above that I made a year or two ago but never have done any more with it. I guess mainly because I can’t decide if I should make it into a pillow which I don’t really want to do or put it on wool so I will probably just put it back till I figure out what to do which may be another 2 years!

I found this Maggie piece below on some site somewhere. I don’t know if it is a club kit or just an older pattern she did. I really like it though. It looks like it would be fun to make!

Right now I am working on my Pumpkin man. Joan came to my rescue with some orange wool so I was able to start it. Thanks Joan!

Well, back to my stitching,

  1. Hi Mindy,

I found your blog a couple of months ago and I've enjoyed reading it.

Maggie taught the above pattern at Primitives of the Midwest in Lee's Summit, MO this summer. I was lucky enjoy to attend this year. I hadn't worked with wool much but I loved doing this. It was so relaxing, I want to do more!

  2. Glad you enjoy reading my blog Claudia! Sounds like you really enjoyed working with wool, I love it!

  3. Looking at the picture on your blog I see I left the dots off my chicken. I wondered why I had some left over. ;>) Guess I will go back and add them. I quilt too but I think my new love is wool. Have you met Maggie? She is a hoot!

  4. Yes I have met Maggie, I got to spend an evening with her at a special Maggie night that a friend of mine had. It was so much fun! She did a book signing that night too!
