When I came home from work today I wanted to make some small project that wouldn’t take long so I found one of Maggie’s patterns for a heart in my Folk Heart Threads book. It’s kind of hard to see the colors in the picture but I used two different shades of army green. I then used a piece of linen off an old runner I had. I might make some other similar hearts to put in a wooden bowl for a Valentine display.
I just got done watching Oprah with Dr. Oz. It would be a whole lot simpler if they would just tell us what to eat instead of what not to eat, because after they tell us what not to eat I’m thinking what is there left to eat. Basically it boils down to fruits and vegetables. That’s all your suppose to eat. I guess you can maybe throw in a few whole grain items here and there but good luck finding something that doesn’t have a whole lot of fat and sugar in it. If anyone has figured all this stuff out, let me know! Oh by the way, did I tell you we had cinnamon rolls today at school?! :-)
