Today I took the car over to Shenandoah to get it serviced and I had to wait for 2 hours. I was not a happy camper. I sent text messages to about everyone listed in my phone telling them all that I was bored to death. Even the owner asked me if they were rebuilding my car! So when I finally left there I had to make a stop at Fareway and then I headed home thinking about how irritated I was about having to wait that long. As I came up over the last hill before coming into town there was a man walking along side of the highway with a backpack on with this big sign attached to his bag that said, “Love Life” I don’t know if this was actually a divine message sent to me because of my present attitude or if the guy was just trying to pass on a message he wanted to share with everyone. Either way, I got the message!
So that said, I came home and lit my good smellin candle! Mmmmm love that smell!
I’ve been doing a little bit of decorating for Halloween, since it’s October 1st I decided it was legal.
I’ll have more later. Tomorrow is the Homecoming parade so I will try and get some pictures there. Doug is feeling better. It has been 2 weeks since he got hurt during the Villisca game. All this week he has been slowly working his way back into playing so he might play a little tomorrow night. I’ll be the lady in the stands holding her breath if he does go in!! I don’t like football, but hey, like the guy’s sign said, I love life, right? Well, I try to!
patience and love,
